Count My Blessings,
One, Two, Three,
Do I have what I want?
Or just what I need?
Today a tulip,
Tomorrow a rose,
Sunday a seed with no water to grow.
I'm living through my dreams,
Forgetting the beauty of reality.
I am happy on my own,
Yet I wish just one could know,
Me.
I'm courageous,
I'm flighty,
I am here or on Mars fighting.
My mind has acres to roam,
My body will last just long enough to know,
Why I've come and how I've grown.
In my mind the waters are calm,
But my heart is a volcano,
Bubbling about to explode.
Count my blessings,
One, Two, Three,
My passion,
My power,
My will to succeed.
Take what I have,
Forget what I don't,
Let go of want,
And allow life to show,
All the love,
All the abundance,
One could wish to know.
Count my blessings,
One, Two, Three,
I'm here,
You're here,
Sharing this love,
